Nexus 7 (2012) replacement

My Nexus 7 screen has a persistent ghost touch that has basically made it unusable. Called Asus and was told it would cost $200 to replace, not worth it for an older tablet. What would everyone recommend as a replacement that won't break the bank?

The 2013 Nexus 7 is still a great tablet. If you Google it I am pretty sure you can still find a new one for sale. Short of that, I might go with an iPad mini.

Thanks, that's what i ultimately did, found the 2013 version new and ordered it. Now anxiously awaiting it's arrival.
