so it seems that it will use about 10% of batter power per hour. but it is better to charge it before it has less than 20%. if i watch a video or something, the batter power goes down quickly. and i have to charge it again in the same day.

i still have doubts that my repaired tablet is consuming the batter power too quickly.

i wonder how many of you charge yours more than once a day?

If you are really using the thing with 8 hours or so of screen on time you're gonna have to charge it to get through the day. That holds true with any tablet. The n7 seems pretty good on battery usage to me although I do have a Samsung tab 3 8.0 and it will give me an hour or so more under same usage circumstances.

I mostly use mine in my vehicle, so I just leave the charger cable plugged into the cig lighter.

But if you're going to be walking around or going sompelace where there's no charger available this is the accessory you want to have, tho it does weigh more than the tablet itself, even tho it's smaller

10% per hour of on screen time is great. A movie or a game will use the power a lot faster so that is not a problem. Compared with my tablet and things other people have posted your tablet sounds fine unless that's 10% reduction in battery without the screen being on, then I would say that is too fast as mine only loses about 2-3% over night.

Only once a day, I am a heavy user on the weekends. During the week it may only get to 80% so I just put it on airplane mode. Try clearing cache partition and app cache if your batt life is horrible.

Mine lasts about 12-15 hours with the brightness down, location off, manual email syncing and other features turned off with a lot of gaming on this bad boy and web surfing.

can you give me some details, such as "time on screen", "time on battery"? how many minutes did you play on games, etc?

i sent it for 3 repairs, so after so many months, i kind of forgot what it was like when i first got it. but i didn't have to charge it twice, that is for sure. then about 10% of battery usage seems to be reasonable, too. i am kind of confused. it seems to be in good condition when it is on stand-by.

Battery life is highly dependent on the brightness setting and somewhat dependent on what apps you run and whether or not WiFi is on.

I use mine mostly to watch porn and have the brightness set to "auto" as I'm in a darkened room. YMMV but your experience sounds about right.

Well, that escalated quickly
