Well, here go the counterarguments.
That seems to be the case for iOS apps. About a third of the apps I use on iOS aren't available in tablet versions and are literally just blown up phone apps. The apps on Android that don't have tablet versions scale up much more nicely. The apps are #1. Too many of the apps that I have running on my Mini are not available in tablet versions on Android, they are just scaled up phone versions. Even Netflix has some added features on the iOS version that don't exist on the Android version such as automatically playing the next episode in a TV season.
You own the 2013 Nexus 7? Because the iPad mini's screen quality is nothing next to the N7's.I also thing the screen quality is a bit better as in color depth on the mini. I have over 5,000 HD TV shows that I bought in iTunes and over 200 HD movies bought in iTunes. Watching them on the mini, they just look so perfect in the quality and color depth. On the Nexus 7, the display is too white and bright. Turning the brightness well, just turns down the brightness and then it is too dim and not as white.
Never happened to me.Then there are times when tapping on a link does nothing. I have to zoom in on the page to actually get the link to work.
Funny, because a lot of iOS users I've met believe that Android's keyboard is much better. When typing on iOS (and this was before I had even used Android), I would experience a lot of mistyping, but Android's keyboard is just so much easier to use. And there's a much nicer autocorrect for when you do mistype. And if the stock keyboard doesn't cut it, there are lots of alternatives. The keyboard also is bad. I can't tell you how many times I'll be typing something and a key next to it or above or below gets typed when I clearly didn't press that key. I've watched it happen. I've had that happen on my Nexus 4 as well. When I want to type something, more times than not, I'll start to pick up the Nexus 7 and then stop because I think it's much easier to type it out using the Minis keyboard.
That's great for the times that Siri actually understands you, but at least for me and everyone in my family who's used both, Siri has trouble understanding words while Google Now understands things perfectly.I like how Siri does things. I tell it so set a timer for 45 minutes and she does it. I tell my Nexus 7 to set a timer for 45 minutes and it sets an alarm for 45 minutes from now.
Maybe you haven't actually set something as home? Not sure, but again, you don't have to use Now; there are other options on Android.I tell Siri to take me home and it automatically opens maps and plots a route to take me home. My Nexus 7 gives me a review of a 2011 comedy.
