Nexus LG-H790 won't turn back on

[Android Central Question]

I've had my phone since about November 2016 and been using it consistently without any real issues. I was using it all day today, had just recently charged it, was using it about an hour ago and it suddenly froze, turned off, and now it won't turn back on. I've tried plugging it into a wall charger as well as a USB charger to my laptop, while also holding down all combinations of the Power and Volume button without any visible change in the phone.

Any ideas?

Welcome to Android Central! It's probably dead. The Nexus 5X, like other LG phones of that generation, had problems with bootloops and motherboard failures. If you look in the Nexus 5X forum, you'll find a lot of threads about this kind of thing -- see if some of the solutions there work.
