no bluetooth connection on verizon samsung galaxy note 3

AC Question

I am unable to pair any devices including my Jawbone Icon and Macbook Pro with my Verizon Samsung Galaxy Note 3 either before or after KitKat 4.4.2 update. Any help would be most appreciated. Thanks.
