No Direct-Fill Ordering Tomorrow?

I get the feeling someone spilled the beans LOL.

i keep clearing cache and refreshing my verizon wireless shopping page to do my upgrade since i was eligilble 2 months ago while I go back and forth from there and here on AC.
 
I'm live chatting with a Verizon rep right now about that, I'll post what he said here in a minute. And at this point he said that they will have pre-orders, but then changed his story halfway through that he "thinks" they will have pre-orders. I think he's hiding something and accidentally jumped the gun and told me they'll have pre-orders up.
Update: I'm squeezing as much information as I possibly can out of this guy lol. And he's dropping everything, you all will like this conversation.

Well the Bionic page on DroidDoes doesn't appear to load anything for me anymore. I tried on Chrome and IE 9. Cleared cache too.. maybe something's getting updated ??

I noticed this as well, i tried it on chrome & IE and noticed it doesn't load anything either.

haha. That or 1 million Bionic followers overloaded the system by entering too many codes over the last several hours. Probably a dedicated server JUST for the Bionic refreshing going on. :)

Scott Attula: Like I think if you cancel your contract they add an extra like $100 on top of the early termination fee

I was thinking about looking at that first, before I jump the gun and order it from Verizon or Amazon (I need to check over their contract again, I didn't really like what I was seeing offhand)
Scott Attula: Oh and yes, I saw that the Droid 3 was on backorder, no idea how my friend ended up getting one. It was a big success even though I didn't see any marketing for it. Kind of strange, I think this phone will be the same way since everyone's been waiting on it since January lol

Scott Attula: Alright good, I know some other GSM networks like AT&T and T-Mobile make you buy a SIM card, and they have like several different sizes now...and it just becomes a huge pain lol. That's why I kind of like Verizon a little better, the only SIM cards I see are the 4G SIM cards :)

Yeah so basically he didn't confirm pre-orders. Hinted that he thought it because of yadda yadda yadda but he doesn't know. Droiddoes bionic page is working again btw, hasn't changed. Nothing new on vzw website either. Time for bed. Will be back in the morning to heat up the refresh button again.

He was very nice, just flat out told me information he had, and information he didn't have (notice me trying to get info on the Prime? Lol). He also speculated as well, instead of telling me he didn't know.

Yeah mine told me she didn't know LOL. Almost tempted to see if another rep may have a different answer but i think you found the 1 ina million reps.
 
Well, none of their phone options get you to a representative regarding purchasing/upgrading your phone. They remind you of their website and give you 3 choices which are not even remotely related. I tried a few different methods but even their 'Contact Us' page says only open till 11 for phone calls to Sales or Customer Service.

On the main menu press 3 for tech support. Eventually you'll get a message saying that their hours are until 11:00 PM EST. They'll give you another menu. Press whatever option is lost or stolen phone. You'll get a rep :)

Haha. I dont think I want to start off the phone call by calling the lost/stolen line. I WAS tempted, but I hung up instead.
