No Google Wallet?

Why does att block Google wallet? I can't imagine how it would cost them anything so what gives?

It's not that Google Wallet costs them anything. It's that they don't make money off of Google Wallet so you the consumer in turn get the shaft. ISIS is a joint venture between AT&T, VZW, and T-Mobile, that means they get a slice of the fee that is charged to the merchant when you tap to pay. IMO that is all the more reason not to use ISIS.

I just checked today on my developer edition (no SIM yet) and it's still not compatible.

last night at CVS where I usually use wallet and cashier said "not paying with your phone this time?" explained it was a new phone and it's not working yet......grrrr c'mon Google straighten this out...

Sprint One. I downloaded wallet on release day from the store but was upset to see it was not supported. I figured it would just take time for Google to certify the One so I let it go. Today after reading this discussion I tried to rate it as one star in the play store but now it doesn't show up. It also doesn't show up as being a downloaded app on my phone in the play store while it still clearly is on my phone though unusable. Is there any reason Google wouldn't certify the HTC One for wallet?

In your play store app go to my apps, slide over to "all", scroll down to wallet app open it and you can rate it 1 star and put reason in the comments

Ah thanks, didn't even think of the all tab even though I use it often. Thanks. Still odd to me that it's on my phone but not showing up as an installed app.

Thanks, Yes, I can confirm. Am able to complete setup on Sprint One. Now, to try and pay with it, but I am sure that will work.

Wallet doesn't even show up in my Google Play. What gives?
Update: Looks like Google is working on a new version of Wallet. Let's see what that will be. I did sign up for an invite.

Nope. Downloaded it on the 19th and it didn't work, said my device was unsupported or something. Tried to open it again today and it went through the setup process and is now working properly.

I also got wallet setup and working but you have to side load the application it won't allow you to download it from the market

If you uninstall the preinstalled wallet app, I got this older version to work, but like the Amazon App store debacle it will say there is an update available but when you try to update it will say not compatible...
