No importing photos from SD card?

Then I wont buy one!
So basic- would like to just pop out sd card from camera and put in a Zoom.
Oh well

What was the purpose of this post? Please let us know what the question is you need to know. As of now the SD card slot is not active. When it is you could if using a micro SD card in your camera just drop it in and pull your photos to your Xoom.

How would this work exactly? There are quite a few types of cards that are used in cameras. I use compact flash. Not enough demand or space in the device to make everyone happy.

Edit: If that's the biggest reason for a tablet, you might try the ipad or the Archos 10.1, you would still have to use an external card reader for both.

Try this adapter, you can plug it into the Xoom and use the cable for your camera to transfer photos.

I haven't tried it, but it looks like it would work.

Depends on if the Xoom supports hosting mass storage. I would love to see if this works.
