Well, this is an old thread. Guess people can move on now... the G3 has a microSD card slot.

I put a 32gb card in just for the heck of it. But chances are I'll never use up the internal 32gb.

I have 15GB of data on my SD that I don't want to re-download. And that's 15 extra GB I can free up from the phone's memory. SD card slot is always a plus in phones these days. Why stream when you can just have instant access to what you want?

The main reason I got my memory card is to see if it's formatted in exfat and when recording video if that means that I can record over the 4gb limit. Haven't tested that yet actually.

I have a 32GB microSD card in mine plus I also use Dropbox and OneDrive. I have 100GB free on Dropbox and over 1TB free on OneDrive so I am good for the foreseeable future.
