Hey all, just switched from blackberry to the X. Have a quick question, i wanted to put some music onto the phone so i plugged the usb charger into the computer to sync songs over. But everytime i plug the phone into the computer it wont recognize that i have a sd card installed. Anybody else fond this issue and resolve it?

When you plug in the USB cable, you should be presented with a notification and choice of mode. Did you select USB disk mode?

Mac or PC?

When plugging your cable in you can pull down your notifications and click the USB thing and it will give you the option on how you want the phone to connect. I usually just set it to mount it as a drive in USB mass storage. Thats the easiest for me being on a mac. I also had to turn on USB debugging under the applications > development menu. Don't know why that made it work but it did.

Yea. I believe that's the default setting, i also used pc mode and the windows media sync mode too. It seems like the windows mode detects the sd card now. Is there anyway to transfer itunes playlists? Or possibly a way to transfer the playlist to windows media?
