Hey all. I loaded 5.1 from the images on googles site. All works great except when I boot the phone and am in airplane mode, I get a no Sim card error. As soon as I turn off airplane mode, it goes away. Anyone know how to clear this? Note I did not factory reset when I loaded. I did not want to loose all of my data. Thanks.

It might be a bug. I don't have 5.1 on my N5 yet, so I can't confirm.

Yeah...I thought that too but I am the only person with 5.1 with this problem, so I'd guess not. I'm hoping someone has an idea that does not involve a factory reset.

I also have the same problem. I enabled airplane mode to save power as I'm offshore. When I disable airplane mode, the no sim error disappears. I can't confirm that my phone will connect to a network just yet as I'm out of range. Its hopefully just a bug with 5.1
