Android Central Question

I just got a Samsung S9+ and when I try and download images from google they appear to download then I tap on the download after finishing it asks me which gallery app (and I have tried and downloaded several apps) it simply says file cannot be loaded and the details of the image Ive been able to see say the file has no location. It goes for gifs as well I was able to track them though into a cache folder that I can only find from my files but the same thing happens when I try to open them (file could not be loaded).

Welcome to Android Central! It's probably because you're saving the image from within the Google app itself. For some odd reason, these downloads go to a protected system directory called /document, which you can only access using the Google app. Instead, open Chrome, go to google.com, and do your image search there. Downloading an image from Google Image Search using Chrome will save the file to the /Download directory, which you can access.
