Not able to transfer full apps to sd card on galaxy s7

[AC Question]

Trying to move some of my bigger game apps to the sd card to free up space on the new s7. I have a samsung 120 gb card. It says the app is transferred to the card and that the whole thing is in external storage, but the vast majority of the MB usage of the app still remains on the internal card... so when I transferred, basically it freed up little to zero space... I seem to remember being able to transfer the whole app and all (or at least most) of it's data in the past... what's the use of transferring apps if it doesn't free up space? Please help!

Welcome to Android Central! Moving an app to SD has always just moved a portion of the app. It depends on the app, but most of the time, the portion that is moved isn't huge.
