Not getting lollipop update on my new Nexus 5

Hey guys I recently purchased Nexus 5 and it was KitKat 4.4.4 out of the box. And when check for updates....it says... system is upto date. I have done factory reset also. What could be the solution.??

Welcome to Android Central! The device will probably skip over 5.0, since 5.0.1 is currently rolling out. And system updates roll out over the span of several weeks--so you'll probably just have to be patient. So what will I get...directly 4.4.4 to 5.0.5

Or 4.4.4 to 5.0 to 5.0.1

Good question--sometimes devices will update incrementally, and other times they will download the whole package and update all at once. On my 2013 N7, it went straight from 4.4.4 to 5.0.1, without any separate 5.0 update in between.

That depends on how many apps you have installed. I think it took at least 45 minutes for my n5, maybe longer.
