I am running Windows 7 64bit. The phone will charge when plugged in to usb, but it is not coming up as a USB device. Anyone else? Is there a setting somewhere that I am missing?
Yes, biggie. I'd need to take off a case protector, then the back case (which I don't know about you, but scares me every time I snap it off), then pull out the sd card without breaking the connector or losing the card. Then doing everything in reverse. Sure, it's a workaround. But I wouldn't say "no biggie."
The sad part about issue like these is what booggerg said. This is a basic function. Did anyone think to test it?
Calm down, the back case is made to be taken on and off. Be a man, it isnt that hard to take off.
The fact that windows 7 64bit is not reading the phone is a driver issue that has nothing to do with the phone and can be fixed with a quick download from samsung support website.
This is a problem and samsung need to know about it to fix it, but this problem is easily solved and easy to get around so it isn't a big problem. Therefore I stand by my no biggie claim.
Some people dont have an issue so it could have been missed in testing or as I said, it might be an issue that has nothing to with the phone. You should get in touch with sprint or samsung support and hear what they have to say. Let us know
