That's odd because that should enable international data roaming. Didn't think it would disable local service. Worth a try I guess....nothing lostTake a look at this thread someone on note 10+ with Sprint , said fix was some international setting that was enabled

Yeah strange , but it was that members fix .That's odd because that should enable international data roaming. Didn't think it would disable local service. Worth a try I guess....nothing lost
I have an unlocked Note 10+ and a carrier locked S10+. There is no distinguishable difference in signal or call quality. As for hard resetting and reflashing, they don't always clear problems, but they often do.Software reflashing has no relevance to a signal problem. From personal experience I had 3 unlocked phones and had to return them all due to weak signal. S7 edge, note 8 and note 9 all had the same problem. Carrier model devices just have better signal quality. Hard resetting isn't going to do squat which idk why everyone refers to that for every single problem a phone has. Lesson learned get a carrier branded device and unlock that. I even had an old galaxy note 5 which the sim reader inside the device went bad and hard resetting wasn't even relevant in that situation.
Disagree. From my experience after having 3 different unlocked phones and having to return them due to no signal in my house. You're incorrect. My wife had a carrier branded s7 edge and mine was unlocked. She had full signal I had 1 bar or no service. Fresh sim and even after checking configuration of apns. In my experience they don't hold onto signal as well. If the phone is brand new out of box there is nothing to hard reset.I have an unlocked Note 10+ and a carrier locked S10+. How did you make out ?I'll check into it. Thank you for sticking with me

Make sure it not a metal case issue... just saying.
Check all settings in Connections, disable carrier diagnostics for now.
Make the Network Access Settings are correct, all of them in it's submenu.
Try a network reset, much less painful than a hard reset...
This is probably a settings issue... if you'll find it or not is a real issue.
Samsung Tech Support is near worthless.
The stateside reps are the best...
You try safe mode if its still happens ?No metal case. The N10 Plus drops calls where my N8 didn't. The N8 wasn't particularly great either compared to previous Sonys and iPhones. WiFi calling switched off. New SIM. Network settings reset. Same carrier last 18 years. Same home address, work address and routines.
I was on hold for 35 mins this afternoon, the other person answered and then the call drops. So irritating. It happens multiple times per day. Definitely the phone at fault.

Indeed. Be best to return it if unresolvable... if you can.
I have the AT&T 512gb variant. No call drop issues.
Have had setting caused issues but not like yours.
One cost AT&T an open box special, lol their bad.
Could it be a 3rd party app or something to do with the touchscreen?
Nearby RF interference? BT device/call issue?
Make sure the Network Access Settings are correct, all of them... they will cause connections issues if not correct.
A good carrier tech rep can help with those or Google it for that carrier/phone.
You can set up more than one profile too and check which one works best.
&
If using from same location it could be a cell tower issue... I've seen this happen
You're om a difderent network and different frequency. Perhaps the phone works better on that freqiency?
Same.apps and settings as old Note 8.
Loads of people have had this issue.
Clear the System cache too...
Done it several times. I do it after every update as a minimum.
