note 2 randomly calls people?

Hi can anyone tell me why my note 2 sometimes randomly calls people??
It may be sitting idle all of a sudden dials a number that I called earlier?
Defective device or just a smartphoje glitch..?

Not sure but this happened to me with my original droid. I have been using google voice ever since and set it to ask me anytime before making a call.

I haven't had the phone making random calls but I use call confirm. Just to prevent me from accidentally calling someone.

If you have the function that auto calls contacts when you put the phone to your face and it senses darkness it theoretically would call.
