Note 2 won't charge after disconnect from pc

After transferring files from pc to phone it will no longer take a charge. The port is active and recognized by pc but every time I try and charge the phone it just says USB connector connected. Any help would be appreciated. I have tried multiple chargers and cables.

There are 4 pins in the connector that are involved - 2 for data, 2 for charging. The PC recognizes the phone from the data contacts. You could have a bad cable or a bad port in the phone, so the charging contacts aren't going all the way from the phone to the PC. Try a different cable. Try a wall charger. If neither works, you'll probably have to have the port in the phone replaced.
