Yes, it was a pre-order. FedEx delivered it on 08/19, like to most of us in the US. When I saw your post with a rejection email, I thought it will never work. But it looks like they are processing it. I didn't get a refund back on the credit card yet.
On the other note, I didn't use a cancelation discount or referral discount, just a trade-in of the Galaxy S10+ and 7.5% employee discount.

Yes, try again. On my first attempt to get a discount, it was regected right in the chat. Good luck.
But, as I said, I didn't receive money yet. The manager may override refund at any time.

Yeah I just bought mine and was within my return period.

Those who are buying now potentially could try getting $300 off from samsung.com ... Order and ask them to price match, once they do then again try the cancel trick.

Not sure it'll work but if you are looking to buy now worth a try.

I tried another time and after providing screenshots of the lower price, providing links to the cheaper price and your screenshot they finally are giving me the $200 off. Got an email from Samsung Direct and Samsung.com saying the price watch will be honored. Pre-ordered on 8/7 with a delivery of 8/19 and also did a phone trade-in (bought a used Note9 for $300 and traded it in for $550) then the 10% cancellation discount, 5% referral discount and 10% Ebates so I'd say I got a pretty good deal on the Note20 Ultra lol

Yes, I got the refund. Took few days to appear on the account. So, the total price also all discounts is cheaper than the BOM cost for the Note 20 U. . Thanks to this post.

Very cool! My cost is $342 after employee discount, 20% Perks at Woks, price match and card cashback. And I kept the Buds and a case. Need to find a good place to sell few new S10+ cases I still have.
