I'm hoping they will , especially for unlockedIt worked for me in beta too. Maybe samsung is preparing to turn it on. Sucks tho if it's an unlocked phone it should just work

She has carrier or unlocked?Thought it was just me. Wife sent me a huge shopping list while I was out and I didn't get it. It shows up as a chat on her phone. Me no get nothing.
She has Tmobile RCS , unlocked unfortunately not yet except sprint before merged with Tmobile. We are both on T-Mobile. She has a locked S10.
I'm thinking when I initially ran the steps to activate RCS it took a couple of days for it to activate. As Samsung has updated the messaging app with chat enabled, it may take a day or two to go live.
Yep.....I think the 3.0 update broke the Google dialer option. I can't get samsung stock rcs it to work on my Samsung unlocked 20 now.
On unlocked noAnyone doing a work around yet for rcs on the stock samsung messages app outside of flashing carrier home csc?
This been issue for long time on Samsung unlocked with stock app , this was a Mod to get it going but now that's been patched up.RCS is working fine on both my wife's unlocked Moto G6 and my ancient unlocked pixel 1 on AT&T. They set up just fine and have been working great for well over a year now I would say. I don't think it's a phone issue (locked vs unlocked or age of phone), it sounds like a software update issue with Samsung.
Mine is the unlocked version so I'm on unlocked firmware.Did you switch to carrier version or still running the unlocked firmware?
Thanks for updating , wi try this againSomeone on reddit figured it out. It worked for me. Unlocked Note20 Ultra on T-Mobile running official One UI 3.0.
