I installed my 4.4.4 update last night. I have noticed my battery life has increased throughout today (hopefully it stays this good). The features really have changed except for the fact that HD calling now shows up If you call someone with a HD calling phone. (Top right corner of the Call screen for the posts I've read not being able to see it) and kids mode can't be disabled (doesn't run Unless ran so I really don't care.) Also the headphones app drawer page buddy thing doesn't change and can't be changed. I really liked that it changed depending on the apps you used but oh well I'll get over it! I'm happy with 4.4.4 though

It still has it but It only has music video calling and youtube in that order. nothing updates and changes like it used to. oh well guess i get to use split view more often

It looks like my battery life has improved with the recent update, too. I've been watching it for about a week now, and I've usually got roughly half my power left after around 14 hours, give or take depending on use. I didn't plug it in last night, and after ~23 hours I still had almost 40% power left. This is an improvement. Given how powerful devices like this are, the makers and/or carriers really ought to ensure sufficient battery life to make it through the day under average usage. Of course, heavier users will run out faster and lighter users slower, but if most people can make it the ~16 waking hours without needing to recharge during the day, that's a good thing.

Glad im not the only who thinks the battery improved. Some people are saying it hasnt! My battery before lasted maybe 10 hours on a good day, thats just enough to last be through school but not I get around 16-21 hours. Even with school! I come home everyday to my phone at about 42-50%, before bed I plug it it (Around 11pm ish) and it still has roughly 20-30% left.

My battery has GREATLY decreased. My Android OS is running at 23% and my Android System is running at 19%. These two items are the two highest running my battery down. In the past twenty minutes looking at and responding to this forum my battery has dropped 8%. This is afer update 4.4.4 this morning. I have done a hard restsrt and battery pull but it hasn't changed anything.
