Note 3 screen freeze

I received my Note 3 off evine.com. Yes, it was a refurb model but within just hours of unboxing it, I was having freezing issues. I don't want to have to send it back and wait for a replacement phone so hopefully I can find a solution here. But I wanted to reply to this post because it was happening to me right out of the box after activation and updates. I didn't put any apps on this phone that wasn't on my previous phone though I'm sure that the software versions are different.4.2 on previous phone, 4.4 on the Note 3.

I have a Note 3 that had issues freezing right out of the box. It was a refurb model that I got off evine.com but it shouldn't have had these issues had it been properly tested.
