My usual way of silencing a ring was pushing one of the volume buttons, but that doesn't seem to work any more. When my phone rings and I want to silence it, I have to either ignore the call (which I never do) or press power, which takes away my use of the screen for the ring's duration. It's not the biggest issue in the world, but it sure is annoying. I feel like this just recently started happening out of the blue, but I don't know. I can't find a setting in Android 5.0 to tell the device how I'd like to mute rings, and the only recently-installed apps that I can see that might be problematic are Silent Boot, eNotify, or Disable Increasing Ring.
