I personally like the Camera on the Note 3 and use it often. Yes low light is not brilliant but overall it takes great photos. Included is a pic from near my hometown Wick in the North of Scotland.

Nothing wrong with that pic Duncan :).................except the crappy car at the end ;)

Yeah the camera on the Note 3 is great. You just need to know how to use it. I turned off the low light setting and have been taking great pictures since!

Yes indeed I find it to be more than capable of capturing some great shots :-)

The camera on the Note 3 is very good. People just have to have something to complain about.

What is this "low light setting?"

I am not sure if it's exactly a low light setting or what. In the camera settings it's called Smart Stabilization.
The pictures attached show the differences. I didn't mess with any lighting.
First one is with the Smart Stabilization turned off.
Second with it on.
Third shows it in the settings menu.

low light shots may not be that great, BUT when you do have adequate light this is a GREAT camera. I have recorded in 4k and 1080p (I didn't know 1080p was in 60fps) and with adequate lighting I was really impressed.

That was partly why I posted as some say it's below par. Well yes I certainly think that is wrong. Low light is not brilliant but what smartphone excels in this area?

I have to admit, I got a little frustrated with the camera yesterday. I was trying to use it for inventory and the damn thing would not focus on the serial # of a label for the life of me. I would even keep it in place after the shutter sound would go off to no avail.

I am still confused about some of their settings. Does anyone know if this device does slow motion type video and how do I implement it?
