Note 5 screen occasionally will not turn on.

Hi Everyone,

I am having a problem with my Note 5. Occasionally, when the display goes dark it will not wake back up. The phone is running as normal by the screen never lights back up.

None of the buttons will get the screen to wake up. Connecting or disconnecting the power cable doesn't have any effect.

It wake wake up on its own, taking as long as 20 minutes. It works normally when it finally does come back and I have to clear out all my key presses.

Any suggestions, thoughts, experiences, ideas, or opinions I would love to hear them. Thank you all in advance! Have a great day!

By chance do the other posters use nova launcher? Seems glitchy?

Not using Nova, I turned off the option of keeping the display off while it's in a pocket or a bag and will see if this had something to do with it. It's always happened after I pulled it out of my pocket.

Did you notice any difference, I haven't had any problems yet after turning that option off. Really hope that's all it was.
