Note 5 vs iPhone 6s

Re: Aggravated with iOS /Android back and forth

Loved my iPhone 6 Plus for over a year (Longest I've owned a phone for years). Then one day I got really bored, IOS feels stale after a while. Just got an LG V10 and LG Urbane. So far so good.

Re: Aggravated with iOS /Android back and forth

I honestly read each of the comments from number 1 to the latest one, I've had them all iphones, ipads, notes, galaxies, and nexus tablets, but the moment I got the note 5, suddenly everything worth nothing to me, the note 5 stole the show to the point that nothing was enough anymore, I thought I was going to miss the lack or replaceable battery or SD card, but I'm using all google photos, google drive, and the battery is SO good and it charges SO fast that It just doesn't matter anymore, I did what you do , which is returning it before the 14 day window just to try the LG V10 and it was awesome, specially the camera, but the battery and performance compared to the Note 5 was very noticeable, so no matter what I do, I always end up going back to the Note line and ignore everything else, So I decided to face the reality and accept the fact that there is something special and unique about the Note line from Samsung, Screen, battery or software optimization or even the Pen, but the Note is THE BEST!

Re: Aggravated with iOS /Android back and forth

So,here are some of my questions: how do you get around getting everyone on iPhones (most of my family and friends) to see your texts and receive theirs and group texts specifically on Android? This is one of the main reasons I sold my Nexus 6p and went back to the 6s plus. Also, can I use the same sim in two different phones? I'd consider getting an Android to switch back and forth from, but I'll probably wait to see what the new Note 6 will be like or even the LG v11, or whatever it is to switch back if I do. This 6s plus is pretty sweet.

I have a Note 5 and a iPhone 6S+. Right now I am using the Note 5, and I get text messages form iPhone users. All my old text messages were imported from my 6S+ to my Note 5 from Verizon somehow.

I keep both phones because if I get bored with one, I'll switch to the other. If I take a long trip, I'll definitely take
the iPhone 6S+ because it's battery life can't be beat.

Still the best thread I've ever seen. At least there are many of us. I'm all in for the Note 5. I haven't missed the 6S Plus one bit. One month today with the Note 5. No regrets

The Note 5 can be the best smartphone for some people. It is especially "right" for me. And it is so good, that it just may be the smartphone that helps me cure my addiction. I honestly don't believe there is a better, more intriguing smartphone available or even on the horizon. So at least for a while, I should be good. One of my issues as I see it is that I don't keep a smartphone long enough to get attached to it. Before it becomes a staple in my everyday life I have replaced it with another. So, to succeed at this, I must be compelled to hold on to the Note 5 at least long enough that I feel a sense of ownership for it. And I'm starting to.The 2 and a half months I've had it is already a longer stint than half the smartphones I've owned. If I make it to the 5 month mark which would be the end of February, that would take me all the way back to my Nexus S that I had and loved. My Nexus S was my second longest experience with a smartphone. It is only outdone by the HTC Tilt that I owned for 11 months. The Tilt was my first smartphone.

Iphone 6s plus is calling me

I am currently using a Note 5 which I love, so sick. I am an android kind of guy. Not sure why, but something is drawing me to want to purchase an iphone 6s plus. It may be because my wife recently purchased an iPhone 6s plus and I really like it. I know it's has its limitations, but has anyone ever felt like they want to just try something completely different? That's where I'm at right now...

Yep I totally get it, that's why I quit fighting the urge to switch back and forth. Now I just carry both.

Re: Iphone 6s plus is calling me

I'm there. I have a 6 Plus that I've been using for about 4 months but really missed Android primarily because everything I do day to day involves Google services in some capacity! Now, I have my 6 Plus as well as a Droid Turbo! 😁

Re: Iphone 6s plus is calling me

Lol don't know if I would carry both but that would definitely solve the issue

Oh I don't carry both but I own both so I can just swap my SIM when I feel inclined to switch.

My tablet is an iPad Air 2 so I'm less inclined to switch if I'm using both in some fashion throughout the day!

Re: Iphone 6s plus is calling me

I have never even considered an iphone.
I looked at windows phone before buying the Note 5, but the iphone was nowhere near my radar.

I bought the. Note 5 on release day and the motorola turbo 2 also on release day, this last week ive been changing the sim card back and forth like crazy lol so i see your problem!

If you can get the iphone w out getting rid of the note 5 then go for it, you only live once lol.

First world problems right? I carry a moto droid about half the year and the note line about half the year, this is the first time ive had both and im wearing the sim trays out!! Lol

Sent with my white Note5 with nonremovable back and no SDcard!
