I think the difference, the original Android battery estimate included standby time. The Samsung calculation is screen on time.

Idk why my photo isn't showing but basically my battery is at 33% with not even 2 hours of SOT.

Yesterday my battery kept tanking and the only thing i had done differently was sync a new fitbit and i clicked on always open phone when device is around. So once I undid that my battery was fine again. I also wonder of cases like s view drain battery :/..

My battery was depleting too...so I reset to factory and loaded only those apps that I use daily. So far so good (knock on wood). If it goes down hill again though, I might be making a trip back to ATT.

Well I couldn't be happier with mine ..ending the day with about 20% more charge then my note 5 would and thats with location on and Bluetooth running all day to my Gear fit 2.....I can't complain

Got my replacement the other day and am getting about 7 hours 45 minutes of screen on time my first full charge without any battery saving settings turned on. I'm extremely happy with that. We will see if that changes over the next few days.

On the first Note 7 it would decline really quick and sometimes the phone would jump from 60% to 0%. It was really annoying but I guess that was the defective battery.

Any problems so far? I was unhappy to read about the Japan replacement battery failures. Samsung seems to have a really bad problem here and I am worried about investing a significant chunk of cash into what could be an ongoing disaster.

I just factory reset against me will. I have when this happens how the hell can a 900 device have such inconsistent battery in 2016

my replacement was working amazing. battery much better than first one. ended the day with 30%. All of the sudden today battery gone at almost 2pm battery almost at 20%. Didn't download or did anything different. Maybe it's an app update. Coming from an iPhone. i have to admit the OS didn't have such issues. very dissapointed and not sure what to do.

No issues with my replacement so far. Just a little better than my previous Note 5. Max brightness no wifi, no bluetooth, no NFC, no GPS. Getting an average of 12-15 hours before having to plug in.

Granted im not a super heavy user, but I do use my phone without worrying about the battery. My battery life is great at the moment. When I leave work im normally around 70%. I try to drain my battery before bed, but its a hard task. I regularly get 5-6 hours sot.

I've never gotten anywhere close to 5-6 hours and I often wonder how in the world any of you ever do. 4 hours I would be very impressed with.

I believe the issue you're having is related to your apps something's causing your android system to be at 33% that's not normal that's way too high. have you tried factory install?

I really don't do much. I change my screen to basic mode because I don't like the over saturated, cartoon colors. Then I debloat with package disabler pro. No other changes. I leave, Wifi, bluetooth and location on (power savings mode).

I just did a factory restore and did it clean so we will see. Definitely something was really wrong today it was draining like crazy

Mine is eating up battery fast too and I just got it yesterday. It was reset, and I setup new and added my apps to it. My S7 Edge is still at 90% for the day, and my Note 7 I've already had to charge it once.....ugh! Any ideas?

Almost 8 hours of screen on time? Are you sure that wasn't off battery time? Do you have a screenshot of that?
