Mine was doing that as well when I attempt to watch it from the Tapatalk app. It hasn't done than using the YouTube app.
Honestly looked the same to me, but my eyes are old. Lol. If anything maybe there was extremely minor hiccups now and then, but I've noticed this on all resolutions (and multiple Samsung hardware in the past).Did you also watch it in 1080p 60fps? You'll see the difference in smoothness.
Tell me what other phone can record in 4k at 60fps or HD at 240fps using the latest HVEC/HEIF codec that reduces media file size by 50% without loss of quality. The new iPhones will also be able to use AF tracking and OIS simultaneously at 4k? I think thats progress. My N8 can't even play 4k 60fps YouTube videos without looking like a slide show.
Try watching this video at the highest resolution on your N8. Watch it struggle.

If you are on Verizon, use Messages+ on your iOS devices, Android, PC, Mac, Web... all synced.
One of the very few Verizon apps I use.

Simmer down Francis. No need to get all combative. I use android and iOS. Both work well and I don't feel the need to bash either.IPhone is an joke simple as that you fanboys will fight tooth and nail on how iPhone is the best phone, what an joke, just like the iPhone x oh yeah you need to pay other 85 out of pocket for the honor to use fast chargeing
So far, that's just a rumor. My N8 has problems doing 1080p 60fps. Try recording 1080p 60fps and pan left to right. It drops frames and gets choppy so I think the rumor is just that. Maybe Samsung may have an update to fix it which I hope they do.My Note 8 didn't struggle at all. Not sure what the point of that was, but okay.
And a future software update will give my Note 8 60fps 4K video recording, so...yeah.
Does the s8 and s8+ have this issue? So far, that's just a rumor. My N8 has problems doing 1080p 60fps. Try recording 1080p 60fps and pan left to right. It drops frames and gets choppy so I think the rumor is just that. Maybe Samsung may have an update to fix it which I hope they do.

When are benchmarks ever gonna stop being used... It's too easy to sway them. iOS is pretty simple and lean. The processing power and video capabilities of the iPhone are pretty enticing. I'm a huge Note fan and use the S Pen a lot for work but I also like to take a lot of videos and I'm pretty tempted to try out the iPhone X when it comes out. Like the article says (hopefully the link works), it's not even close. Also, I can't remember the article I read, but Samsung said the Note 8 won't be getting 4k/60 fps.
It would be nice if someone could make one phone that just has it all... The Note line used to be that.

Yes. They shown one real world test but we have always known iphones are faster??? Is this not well known or something, lol. When you have a os that is build around the hardware it's always going to be faster and so is the software thatbruns on it.Did u read the whole article? Yes they mentioned the benchmarks but most importantly they showed real world results.
