Note 8 doesn't do WIFI auto-reconnect

[Android Central Question]

I have to do Wifi off and on for it to connect. Same for all Wifi APs I have used. Tried forgetting network, resetting network, restarting router where I can, no luck. Spent an hour and half with Samsung support, couldn't fix it. In safe mode, it auto-connects, but only holds the connection for 5 seconds, then drops connection, and connect again. Anyone has suggestions on what to do? Thanks!
