Note 8 on Oreo Tries to Force Roaming & Wifi Can't Find IP

it wasn't only my phone and it was something that also affected amazon from what I can see. once the amazon stuff came back so did my wifi/roaming issue. freakin' weird and a pita of the highest degree.

Not having any issues here. Verizon and 8.0.0 Oreo.

it's every day now and it didn't have to do with Amazon stuff. pure coincidence. guess I'm going to have to replace it. feels like the wifi radio is failing since it says it's roaming but mobile data is off and there's no wifi signal on phone but wifi is okay everywhere else.

thank you, but that really doesn't help. and it's not related to Oreo but started after the Oct. security update. I was merely informing that I am on Oreo in case someone had ideas.
