I'm pretty sure that's not what he's doing. There are a lot of people that buy and sell on sites like swappa.com on a regular basis. They like to experience a lot of different phones so they buy, sell and trade on sites like that.Don't sellers look at habitual trader ins and returns who work the system and abuse the terms?
It's all about the stylus. That's where Apple really dropped the ball.
They pioneered the stylus and handwriting recognition in the Newton and then dumped it.
You don't have to "buy" it - but I buy / sell / trade all the time. I have already had the iPhone 8 plus twice , note 8 twice and iPhone 8 once since they have come out - for instance.
This thread makes me want to upgrade my SE to an iPhone 8 plus. Mainly, to gain more screen and possibly to make my SE (sidekick to my S8) my daily driver. (I carry 2 phones at all times).
Though it makes me rethink if a couple hundred warrants the heavier glass back 8plus over the 7plus.
The bummer part is apple wised up and stopped the 7+ in 256gb and cut down to 128gb.I have two SEs and didn't really use either one for all that long. I think the display is just too small for a phone even though that's the size that original started out and I still have my 5S.
I chose to but the 7+ over the 8+ simply because it was about $100 less and I was still able to get the 256GB model. Other then wireless charging, there really wasn't a lot of difference between the 7+ and the 8+.
The original iPhone thru the 4s were 3.5 inches. The 5 thru SE are 4 inches.I have two SEs and didn't really use either one for all that long. I think the display is just too small for a phone even though that's the size that original started out and I still have my 5S.

The 3 and 4 iPhones were tiny!! At the time we didn't realize it though. I remember getting the S2 Skyrocket with a 4.5 screen instead of the 4s and thinking it was huge!!I remember that now. It wasn't a huge increase in size so I kind of forgot about it and it's been so long since I had anything earlier then my old 5S.
Hopefully they will be willing to download Skype, whatsapp, fb messenger etc.. to do video calls with youNot really. The only thing that kinda sucks is my wife and 2 kids are all Apple. So no FaceTime, iMessage, AirDrop any more. Not a huge deal, but it was super convenient when I was on Apple as well.
Honestly, all the features of the Note 8 Trump the Apple ecosystem for me. The Note 8 is way more fun and I love being able to make it my own.
I would absolutely hate doing that lol. It takes me minimum 3-5hrs to get my phone setup just right! Once a yr at most is enough for me! I think most techies prefer Android but I don't agree that most Android users are techies. Many Android users can't afford iPhones and go for less expensive Android phones, not flagships.
