I doubt this will resolve bad battery life but ill give it a try. Don't quite see what chrome history has to do with battery life impact.

What did clearing your catche.

https://support.google.com/chrome/answer/95589?co=GENIE.Platform=Android&hl=en

I'd go to where I had internet access and do a factory reset.

And try the phone without all the apps.
Only install the apps you use Everyday.

Don't care if its a Work phone.

You got a problem.
What are you talking about? I factory reset my phone twice already. Thought I mentioned that. This is a work phone too and I travel on business so don't have much time to hard reset for a third time.

Yeah I posted in that forum too. Where is there McAfee on the note 9 and how do I disable it?? Didn't come on my phone to begin with.

Mcaffee is the virus protection that came with note 9.
It's in device maintenance.

My wife don't have a problem.

Sounds like you need a small computer like a Samsung Chromebook.
Hotspot to it.
Keep all the apps you need on it
Then see if you can get your phone problem worked out.

What are you talking about?? You're confusing me. Where in device maintenance?? You're not making any sense.

You're not missing anything. I believe the antivirus they are talking about is only installed on the unlocked versions. Yours is probably a carrier version so it doesn't have it.

My wifes phone is unlocked.
Bought at Best Buy.

I don't use it and forget about it being unlocked.
Not sure about the carrier version.
Glad you posted that.

So that was a waste considering I don't have the note 8. Plus that device security tab isnt even available on carrier models.

If'n I was you.
In would look.at a Samsung Chromebook.
Install all of your apps on it

Delete them off your note 9

Hotspot your note 9 to your Chromebook.

Then you can see if your battery don't improve.
Put only one app at a time back on your phone.

Don't get in a hurry putting apps back on either.

My other friends with the note 9 are not having any battery problems either.
Hate you are struggling.
