Noticed I have earpiece buzzing... Is it even worth it to get a replacement?

Oh yeah, that's only if you're thinking about returning the device for a refund.. If anything is wrong with your device you should be okay with just your warranty. I just checked, its 21 days from the date of the order of the replacement.

Oh! So you mean I'm not restricted to 15 days to decide if I want an exchange/replacement? I don't plan on returning it, I love it so far!

Yeah that's more than enough time to decide which one's better.

Yep, 15 days is for if you dont like the phone and want to return it. Any problems you encounter with the phone and require a replacement will be covered by your 1 year warranty unless the damage is caused by you for example dropping it.

Awesome, makes me feel much better and less rushed! But what about this link where I got the information?

So if I decide I want to get a problem fixed, say, 2 months later, I'd call Google and they'd still give me a replacement? Or would I have to actually send it in for repair?

I dont quite get it, the replacements within 15 days and replacements within the warranty period, to me seem the same. I don't know what the difference is. Mine was way past the 15 days when I sent mine back so you should be fine. You can always just make sure if you are worried by calling them up.

Yeah, I'm confused as well haha. So when you sent yours in, did they send you a replacement first, and then you decided which one was best, and sent back the other? Or were you actually without your phone for a while?

Yes they send you the replacement first. Otherwise, they would have no reason to place a hold on your card

Yeah good point. Good to know it's not restricted to 15 days! I honestly don't think my earpiece "buzzing/static" is all that bad anyways. Calls come through loud and clear, even with in call volume turned up. But good to know I'm just a replacement away if anything else comes up.

Thanks for your help Rizy, you're a gentleman and a scholar haha.

No worries dude! It really is up to you, most people probably have the same problem but have never noticed it. You have to be sitting in a extremely quiet room just to hear it. Tbh though it just bugged me because I thought its not normal for the phone to do that. Luckily the replacement was a little better but I'm not going to RMA it 3, 4 times just to get rid of the issue completely. Saying that they have changed the design of the newer nexus 4s, don't know if they identified the buzz problem though.

Yeah I totally agree. For me, it's not that big of a deal anymore. Mine isn't as bad as some others, so I'll live with it, unless it somehow gets worse.

I have one of the newer N4's with the nubs, so the issue is still there, but perhaps not as noticeable as previous versions.
