Notification sounds while device is set to vibrate?

[Android Central Question]

For some reason, my S9+'s vibrate setting has decided to no longer function. When in ringer mode, sounds and vibration occur. When in vibrate mode, sounds and vibration still occur. Even the basic stuff, like text message notifications. The apps from which I receive the notifications haven't changed. Silent mode still works properly. Multiple restarts, no change.

Merry putting the phone in safe mode , see if it's still the same .
