My wife having had a Style almost a week, we are very disappointed with the Wear 2.0 notifications. We both have had Pebbles which nailed notifications.
• The alert vibration on the Style is almost nonexistent and no way to adjust it.
• The display notification timeout is very short, by the time you slide your coat sleeve back it is gone. And no way to adjust the timeout.
• If you take a quick look at a card and then want to go back, the card has been deleted. No 2nd chance at a look, So you have to dig the phone out of your pocket. Looks like all cards are erased automatically after one look.
• Some notifications never alert at all, just random intermittent notifications with the phone close by or in pocket. Mostly a problem with texts
• Email notifications show only sender and subject. No email content is shown.
I will add that text alerts initially did not work at all, even though they worked fine on her Pebble. She has a Samsung S6 and was using the Verizon Message+ app. After a day of screwing around we switched to Android Messages on her phone and suddenly notifications went to the Style.
I think that all issues, except for the wimpy vibration, are related to Wear 2.0 design.
Maybe we are missing something in how to use the watch?
