Hi. I am currently running Nougat 71.1 Beta on my Nexus 6P. There have been no problems until today. I went to delete a "Saved NetworK" in my WiFi Networks list and discovered the "Settings" app keeps stopping when I try to access the WiFi settings. This happens when I go to Settings/Wi-Fi and press the "gear" icon. I am running 7.0 on my Shield K1 and have no similar issues. Anyone else running N7.1.2 having this issue? TIA

Yup. This bug was mentioned in another post back when the beta was released. Still crashes when I hit the gear icon.

Thanks. I must have missed it. My nephew has the same setup as mine says he experiences the same issues in other areas of Settings. I've only seen it on the WiFi setting.

So far, that is the only place I've seen it as well. I sent feedback about it and hopefully the next release will fix it.

So...if I can't access the wifi settings is there any way to disable the wifi optimization or otherwise prevent it from dropping a wifi connection that it detects has no internet?

Not that I'm aware of. That doesn't mean there isn't any way, I just don't know of one. The beta should be receiving an update soon and hopefully this will be fixed. This is only real issue I've come across.
