odin 3.09 problem

Hello , i downloaded osin to my pc , i connected my tablet in it and i installed a recovery , but when i tape volume up + home key + power key at boot it loads the default recocery ...

Why should that happen ??

What recovery are you using? It should load the custom recovery that you flashed.

What recovery did you install? ClockworkMod looks very similar to the stock recovery, so that might be what you're seeing

I installed CWM but i didnt know it want root ...
Now when i go to software update it shows me that my device has been modified ..............

I am going to root my device now and will this error be gone ??

I'm pretty sure root comes before recovery. That's how I did it at least.
Your device will show as modified regardless of whether or not you have root. Depending on what Android version you are on, you might be able to reset the flash counter so that it shows as not modified

That's how it worked for me (also a GS4)
To flash back to stock, download a stock firmware on sammobile.com and flash in Odin
