Odin fails to write CWM6 <ID:0/004> FAIL! (Auth)

I'm rooted and trying to install CWM6 via Odin. Green status bar completes but then I get

<ID:0/004> FAIL! (Auth)
<OSM> All threads completed. (succeed 0 / failed 1)

The download screen on the phone also says :SECURE CHECK FAIL : recovery

the CWM also comes with .zip file .than can be used from recovery.
so download the zip file and flash it in the recovery mode

yes that will be more safe.

Doesn't seem to have wotked. It quickly cranked through something too fast for me to read the output and rebooted. I did this a few times. Still booting into stock recovery.

may be the zip file , you tried to flash were damaged try to find a new one
