It's only 40 days. Besides, I finished DA:O Awakenings and all of the DL content. Tasted the DA2 demo, and I'm good for a break anyways. I have all of the excitement I need when I watch my wife learn to knit.

Which themes are you testing on 2.9?

I want to do nitrocomb but was waiting for people to test first.

I have successfully loaded NitroDark. My next one to test will be NitoComb. The testing is more specific to switching themes without getting a force close loop at boot animation. Nitroglyceryne is doing one hell of a job with themes, so I can't imagine any problem with that theme on 2.9, but I'll let you know. Just check JaeKar99's themes thread as that's where I'll be posting my results since he and Suicide Shift are also testing the same thing.

Newb here. Been following this forum since the Fascinate first launched. Never posted anything because you guys have all the answers. Anyway, just now followed all the steps to install debloated beBinged Froyo and it worked like a charm!!!!

Thanks so much to Cory, DroidXcon, and EVERYONE who makes this forum so awesome! I wish I know 1/2 of what you guys know on here.

I have just one rooting question: If/when VZW ever does release froyo OTA, do I just ignore it now that I have EB01? Thanks to all of you (too many to mention). Like I said, I've been reading this forum since launch and have gleaned so much useful info from you guys. Rooting was a cinch!!!

Since you already have Froyo, you probably will not even get a notification to upgrade, so nothing to ignore.

Themes can not be flashed individualy through odin,,,i could make an odin package with a theme preinstalled , but thats alot of work to do every individual theme.

when you flash a theme it only changes certain files in the framework of the OS.

when you flash odin it replaces the entire OS not just parts of it...

so the answer is NO you cant just flash themes using odin.

you must use clockwork and ill do a write up on how to do it soon, but im sure others can give you direction

DAO 2 = Pure goodness. They fixed alot of things I hated in the original. I would recommend it since you played the first! The story is amazing as well.

I did just that. As i said in another thread a big thanks! I am finally getting the hang of this thanks to the community of awesome people on here!
