Also, facebook widget doesn't work, it goes on the screen but shows Monday. Not sure why the widget fails to update....it shows sync is on...

unfortunatley i couldnt include cwm All . so with my packages you still need update.zip to enter clockwork from recovery ... sorry but cwm All doesnt work well with the packages

So the 2.9 package doesn't have cwm? Or it doesn't have cwm ALL? does the ALL version not work with 2.9? are there any advantages to the ALL version compared to the previous version? I'm planning on flashing tonight, just want to make sure I didn't miss anything in here since I posted yesterday, haven't had a chance to read through the rest of the posts yet.... If someone could clarify for me, I'd really appreciate it!

it has cwm, that is what the update.zip is for ,,,just doesnt have CWM ALL

cwm all allows for voodoo support. also cwm all has fixed a couple other things that are not working that great with reg cwm for example some people have trouble with nandroid back up and restores ..... cwm ALL can be easily installed by flashing it through odin after you flash one of my packages and booted up..

Just follow the same instructions as the original post but use this CWM ALL,,,put it in the PDA section of odin and flash.

one more question I just thought of, can I SKIP installing the update.zip for regular cwm, install the sc 2.9 tar file, and THEN flash the cwm ALL file through odin AFTER booting up 2.9, and be okay? Will it work that way?

Just updated to SC 2.9x. Is it super-important to use the 2.9.1 patch, or is that only if you are having issues? Also, now I can just flash the CWM-All file through PDA in Odin, right?

JaeKar99, Suicide Shift, and I have been fighting this battle incessantly. It seems there is a problem sometimes flashing themes. The only advice I can really give is make sure your battery is near 100% when you flash the theme. I have had better luck successfully flashing with my phone plugged in. And don't flash the theme and a ROM or anything else in the same cwm session as the theme.

Have you got any themes to work? It is tough to have everything you want

If your asking themes that will work with 2.9 there's a list over in the r0m/themes/links section from them and others testing. I can tell you personally mob87's latest Honeycomb and nitro's Nitrocomb work perfect. I even flashed honeycomb over nitrocomb to fill in some missing pieces and it's perfect, no problems a little over a day now. I actually flashed them both in the same session twice now, SC2.8 & 2.9, no problems. I wouldn't even consider flashing a theme in the same session as a ROM though.

No - not for 2.9. I am trying to find one to work with Adryn's deodexed rom. I might have to go back to SC but I noticed some A2DP BT issues with 2.8. Voice commands did not work well with nuance or Vlingo.

Not a single A2DP issue with SC 2.9(edit: or 2.9 with the gps patch) for me and I'm not using the nuance patch installed Vlingo instead. I finally got rid off my cheap Jabra for a Jawbone ICON earlier this week from amazon and it's perfect with 2.9. Music, Google nav, voice dial, voice text, voice email haven't had one problem. Sorry about the theme mix up as well I shouldn't of been lazy and read back to the original post.

ok my wife is currently running the stock eb-01 froyo, everthing is all and good but i keep getting random screencaptures, only happens when i hit the volume or power buttons and mostly when the phone is charging but it does it alot and i dont like it, is there any way to fix this?

Well, if you press/hold the back button and press the power button a screencap will be taken. Maybe you already knew that.

Thanks. I recently picked up a Blueant Q1 so I could hear the GPS through the BT. I was just having a ton of issues with voice recognition with Vlingo. I then installed Nuance to see if that would help but it did not. Maybe I will wipe and start with a clean 2.9. When I flashed 2.8 over the deodexed rom, I had some aps that I did not go away that I thought would. Maybe the rom did not load correctly. I have wiped too many times as of late ...

It just did it again...... all i did was press the power button and its not even plugged in this time!!!!!!!

Not sure that I understand the entire situation here, but the power button is now designed to take pictures when the camera is open. That is part of the hack that is in the camera module for Super Clean.

Is that what you're talking about?
