Thanks, It turns out it was my router. I havent turned it off in like over 4 months and today it wasn't working right on my computer either, so I just restarted it and everything is all good. Thanks for the work too.

whenever you have voodoo you must disable lagfix before flashing a nonvoodoo kernel over it

Download and Flash THIS

after flashing boot the phone up , then shut down and flash whatever EB01 file you want

Worked perfectly... Now i can go to sleep, and enjoy froyo tomorrow!!

market app error

Got the EB01 update all done (on 2 phones) with no problems...DXC you are a SuperStar...
But now on one of our phones the Market app won't work...comes up with dialog box that says "An Error has occurred. Please try again later."
Any Ideas?

Looks like it just needed a swift kick in the reboot...after a couple of times it seems to be working fine.

So I've been running 2.4 for a couple days and I noticed something, even though it warns me that I have to have the hotspot feature from verizon to use it I can still turn it on.

My question is, does this work and will big red know I'm using it?

Just download android wifi tether here to be sure.

I just installed SC 2.4, and so far I have two issues:

1.) I'm not a fan of the new battery meter, is there a way for me to reset it to stock?

2.) There seems to be a problem when connecting a usb cable for mass storage. If I select "mass storage" under usb settings, the notification does not appear when I plug it in. I've had to change it to "ask when connected". Has anyone else experienced this?

Other than that, it's good so far.

You don't have to listen to any warning we give. Just please remember that the devs, myself, or Android central are not responsible for any damage you do to your phone. We are also not responsible for extra costs or termination of your smartphone service.

1) You can find some battery meter modifications in this post:

2) To what notification are you referring? Are you saying the computer does not give you a notification letting you knowthe phone and computer are connected? Or are you referring to the notification to connect usb storage so you can transfer files? If you are referring to the connect usb storage notification, you have to pull down the notification bar and click on usb connected in order to get the screen with the green Lloyd droid and the button to push that says connect usb storage.

I'm talking about the little usb symbol that appears in the notification bar of the phone. When I plug the usb cable into the phone, it usually makes a notification sound and shows a usb symbol in the notification bar. Then I would pull down and select the notification to go to the green Lloyd and the connect button. But sometimes I get no notification at all. This happened with 2.2 sometimes as well. Maybe it's just me though.

Like DroidXcon said, make sure before you plug your phone into your computer you hit the menu soft key and go settings=>applications=>development and make sure usb debugging is checked.

This worked great before I upgraded to EB01, now it won't work.

Weird. It's been working fine for me. That is to say, it works fine for everyone else. My laptop (sony vaio) has never been able to connect to it, and the PS3 is unable to connect to "ad hoc" networks. Other than that it's been working the same as it when I was running 2.1.

Can someone explain step 1. I downloaded the Zip file to my computer, what should i do with it?

Have you tried PdaNet for tethering? It's not wireless but still works if you need to use your laptop.

OK, I'm done waiting for a samizon OTA update. I will be going from ota EB28 to the debloated deoxed build- EBO1DB_DXC.tar . I was rooted before the db28 update and had backed up My apps and user data using TB. Understanding that all data will be lost flashing this, will My backed up info be compatible? If so, am I ok just to leave it on the SD card and the card left in the phone ?

welcome to Android Central abcs. as step one states
To install
1. First you will need to download and place on your sd card update.zip, download here Update.zip

You can do this by plugging in your phone>pull down notification bar>click on USB connected>choose Mount> hit ok

then from your computer desktop click start>select computer> then look for the new drive that is added this should be your sdcard

then go to where you downloaded the update.zip file copy it and paste it into your sdcard

then you can pull down your notificaton bar again on the phone click USB connected >choose turn off storage and you are done with step 1
