[Odin] Froyo leaked packaged custom ROMs w/root and clockwork **UPDATED**3/25

No worries, we've all been there. When you first get into recovery (cwm) it should be blue unless something has changed with these new packages. Hit the volume down button once to highlight apply sdcard:update.zip and hit the home key (looks like a house), this will take you into red cwm where you will do any flashing (installing) of future ROMs, themes, etc. you download to your sd card. On the first red page, the second to last option is advanced. You could hit the volume down key to get to the bottom, but it's quicker to hit the volume up button twice. Advanced should be highlighted, but don't hit the home key, in red cwm you use the power button to make choices. Inside advanced I believe the third or fourth option down is wipe battery stats. highlight that and hit the power button. you will come to a screen where it will ask you if you are sure you want to do this, there is only one yes option-all the others are no. highlight yes and hit the power button. I don't think you get a notification letting you know it was finished. Hit the menu key (lower left of your phone) to get back to the main red cwm page. The fist option highlighted on that page should be reboot system now. Hit the power button and wait for your phone to reboot.

hmm im having problems that i had voodoo, then flashed EB01, so my internal memory is showing as 0.0b, what can i do at this point to restore it?

What are the main differences between Super Clean Version 2.1 and 2.2? I'm happy with the 2.1 version I put in last night.

The only issue I had, was the menu, home, and search keys at the bottom didn't work last night right after I downloaded the rom (the back key worked).

But this morning, 8 hours later (without turning the phone off) all those keys worked again, and they still do.

MikeMosh511 had the same problem. I'm not a voodoo expert, but I've read a ton of these forums and have a pretty good memory. If I answered his question correctly you can go back one page in this thread and look at post #419

Plzzz Help installed EB01DB dxc tar deblooted dowload everything work great running 2.2 ! One problem adobe flash 10.1 is installed but when you go to a website that needs it it dosent reconize it.. It says download most recent version and i did ......is that crazzy or is it me......thanx guys

When you are in the browser hit menu=>more=>settings=>enable plug-ins=> and choose either always on or on demand.

P.S. I'm absolutely loving LP. Amazing how fast the app list was coming up when I was putting shortcuts on my desktop. Also loving how uncluttered it is since my current wallpaper is the pic from when the blackhawks won the stanley cup and they are all on the ice around the cup and they are holding up their index fingers. Now there is not as much in the way.

DXC is the man. Make sure to hit the thanks button numerous times for him whenever you have a chance.

tried searching for this issue, but havent seen it anywhere, with the exception of exchange email having issues. after setting pop3 email up, this is the error i get, and it will not pull down emails. anyone seen, or know whats goin on?

Edit: eb01 deodex'd, superdark v1. nothing special yet, tryin to work the current kinks out first

I got that error message, but only a couple of times. Seemed like it happened during setup and because I was not getting 3g service. I waited a few seconds, hit menu=>refresh and it would start loading. Sorry if that is not of any help.

thanks for the effort, but i tried that, even updated my PRL and roaming, rebooted the phone a few times, and tried from WIFI. same error.

This is my first packaged odin file so please forgive me if there is something i missed.

To install
1. First you will need to download place on your sd card update.zip, download here Update.zip

2. Next you will need a Froyo tar file which will be placed in the PDA section of odin.

Download your flavor of Froyo Below

Debloated/Deodexed Froyo Leak+root+Froyo Clockworkmod

Super Clean version 2.1 - EB01 Froyo leak+root+Froyo Clockworkmod
UNZIP THE .rar file BEFORE USING -->EB01SC_DXC.tar (Does not include boot animation so be patient while it loads)

Super Clean version 2.2 - EB01 Froyo leak root+Froyo Clockworkmod
UNZIP THE .rar file BEFORE USING -->EB01SC22_DXC.tar (Does not include boot animation so be patient while it loads)

3. You will need to download Odin application tool found here ODIN

4.) If your phone is plugged into your computer, unplug it now.
5.) If your phone is not powered down, power it down now.
6.) Remove battery from phone.
7.) Launch ODIN on PC.
8.) Plug USB cable into phone.
9.) Press and hold the volume-down key.
10.) Plug your Fascinate into the PC via USB cable.

You should now see a gigantic yellow triangle and your phone will be in download mode. You can now release the volume key.

11.) Click on the PDA button in ODIN

Triple check that you pushed the PDA button. Do NOT click the Phone button prior to continuing to step 13. If you choose Phone, you will have bought your Fascinate a one-way ticket to hell.

12.) Choose the EB01_DXC.tar file you downloaded in step 2 above & click the Start button.(this should take approx 9mins)
13.) Phone will power down when finished.
14.) Remove USB cable.
15.) Reinsert battery.
16.) Power phone and wait to boot approx 4mins

Congrats you are done you now have Rooted Froyo with new clockwork installed if/when you need it.

NOTE DO NOT FLASH ROM MANAGER RECOVERY IT IS NOT COMPATIBLE

Tomorrow i will add trouble shooting odin and how to use clockwork for those of you who do not know....ENJOY!!!
