What were you running before you upgraded? Were you on Eclair 2.1? Were you already running Super Clean version? I don't see that you stated that you used Odin to flash your rom, but if you did use Odin, what version did you upgrade to? EB16SC29x_DXC.tar , the version with the little x after the 29, or EB16SC29_DXC.tar , the version without the little x after the 29?

SuD

I was already running super clen version, and i used ordin to flash rom, i upgraded from stock to rooted then to EBO1_DXC.tar to EB16SC26x_DXC.tar and now thats where im at and my phone keeps not letting me unlock after it goes to sleep the screen just stays black:-[

Ok it's done now i'll let you know 2 moro how the phone act's after the day of use thanks you rock!:)

if it continues to act up i would look into the apps you have installed. If you post here also please PM me let me know your results

When I do Batt stat I use terminal emulator step...but while in that step i just have a one quick question....
After all that charging back and forth....When I actually using terminator Do I need to unplug the charger??? or Do I just use it while its connected?

Doesn't matter. You can run it with phone plugged in or unplugged. The bstats script just syncs what the phone is reporting as the percentage of the charge of the battery with what the battery is reporting as the percentage of the charge so what you are seeing on your screen is accurate.

I went back to SC2.5 as I was having too many issues with SC2.9. Seems to be little buggy. I was having numerous crashes, lock screen crashes, reboots, and so many other issues. 2.5 seems to be golden for me.

There was one issue with random reboots with SC 2.9, but that turned out to be a problem with the mod of the media controls on the AOSP and rotary lockscreens not the ROM, and Adrynalyne fixed that with the 2.9.1 patch. You would be the only one reporting that SC 2.9 is buggy, and I read every post in every thread in the fascinate forums. If you are having problems with 2.9 it is probably because something you have on your phone is incompatible with it, not because 2.9 is buggy. SC 2.9 is the most stable ROM I have worked with since I was rooted in late January, super fast and super clean too. Adrynalyne has really outdone himself with this ROM. And I have been flashing the hell out of this ROM trying all kinds of different combinations and testing different things as you can read about in this thread: http://forum.androidcentral.com/ver...ks-roms-themes-kernels-updated-3-13-11-a.html

Maybe. I installed the clean/wipe version of 2.9 over 2.5 and had to redo all my apps. Was having lock screen to unlock-random reboot issues so I re-downloaded the 2.9x version and installed it. All apps and such remained. Phone was better, much better. After a day of full use I was getting a message (noLED) and if I accidently hit the power button not home screen-the phone would go into the boot screen animation. Rebooted and tried not to do that anymore. During phone calls I would randomly lose the call, or it would go blank, or bluetooth would drop. Last night it dropped but the phone icon remained like I still was on the phone, but I was on the homescreen. When I tried to recall, it reverted to the homescreen. And finally, I didn't car for the icons in the notification bar or the text messaging black on black chat bubbles. I really like the color of the icons in 2.5 and the chat bubbles are clear. Like I said, I had nothing but issues with 2.9. 2.5 works for me.

Thank you sir!!!

I have a one question....I have SC 2.9.1 non voodoo right now...Everything is working perfectly fine but I just have one issue it that I was playing same game with my friend and my phone is laggying while his phone is not.......and my friend has Moto Incredible stock phone and has 2.2 froyo. so my question is...

1. is that bc his phone has official froyo??

2. will this be solved if I install voodoo??

Thank you inadvance!!!

it has cwm, that is what the update.zip is for ,,,just doesnt have CWM ALL

cwm all allows for voodoo support. also cwm all has fixed a couple other things that are not working that great with reg cwm for example some people have trouble with nandroid back up and restores ..... cwm ALL can be easily installed by flashing it through odin after you flash one of my packages and booted up..

Just follow the same instructions as the original post but use this CWM ALL,,,put it in the PDA section of odin and flash.

just flashed sc2.9!! everything went smoothly, went very fast it seemed, love the look of it!! havent played with it much yet because I'm getting ready too flash cwm all, just wanted get one last clarification before I flash that over...

I downloaded the cwm all zip from DXC's link, just want to make sure I am supposed to extract that and THEN use odin correct?

No, you don't extract it. You simply save it to your computer and flash it through ODIN as is. Tar files are flashed directly through ODIN, rar files have to be extracted or unzipped. When you download the files look at the end of the file name - .tar or .tar.md5 - Flash through ODIN as is; .tar.rar - extract first then flash the .tar file through ODIN.

EDIT - Just to clarify one small point also. The file DXC linked you to is an ODIN flashable file not a zip. Zip files actually end in .zip. ROMs by themselves are zip files, as are all themes, patches, and mods.

so glad i asked haha

Thanks Landshark

You're welcome. Never hurts to ask a question for clarification before taking action. It will all start to come together pretty quickly. Enjoy 2.9 and not having to go through the step of blue stock recovery first. I am enjoying the hell out of both.
