You forget though. It wasn't RIM and the Storm holding up updates, it was Verizon. We really shouldn't be surprised.
That's what was suggested when we found out that 2.1 was canceled but I think the mods find it to hard to do it for one reason or another. I mean its not just merging the two threads then sticking the other.
Not hard to do at all. Yet we would just turn it into a 100+ page thread. We have to keep new members in mind. Nobody wants to read all that. Lets let the old one RIP.

I know Verizon reps are super unreliable, but a tech support lady I just spoke to said with the utmost confidence that Flash is coming with 2.1 (a "big" update) this week. Take this little tidbit of info as you will... Probably not too likely, but reinforces rumors we're currently hearing.

This time I think a pack of wild monkeys some how get loose in the Moto and VZW labs right before the ok is given, killing everyone involved in the project. As the last person left alive is about to push the button to release it, a monkey pulls the cord killing the power, and erasing the entire project, with everyone involved dead and all data lost, 2.1 is set back another 3 months....
