I have a feeling it is either going to start rolling out tomorrow or Friday (just a feeling not a fact). Since skype comes out tomorrow for verizon they might group the rollout along with the release of skype. I could be wrong (hell, I'm probably wrong) but it might make sense if the update automatically packages skype into the phones system like verizon's visual voicemail. Idk I guess time will tell.

You gotta read this thread more closely, man. It's been stated multiple times that the update is (probably) going to 1,000 Verizon testers today, then if that goes well, after 24 hours (Friday around midnight, most likely) 200,000 updates will be rolled out daily until everyone with a Droid has 2.1.

Hi guys! first post here... but I found this today, it was in the last comment on BGRs 2.1 thing from last week, but it was dated today and the pic was posted 2hrs ago... (link would have gone here... but i don't have ten posts yet... lame)

It would seem to confirm that some test updates got pushed today... which would be a +1 for friday.
