Android Revolution HD ROM seems to help too. Although, I'm not sure to what degree.
I flashed Android Revolution this morning - read all the positive reviews here and on XDA. *holds breath*

anyone leave their 4g, gps and wifi on the entire time?
Well, this is my first day with my Nexus in my office in Chicago on the 33rd floor. Also, first day using the extended battery. I am highly disappointed. I am switching in and out of 4g constantaly, and in 4 1/2 hours, I am down to 27%. Screen is on auto, did some light browsing, emails and 1/2 hour of music. Signal sucks compared to my Thunderbolt. I really hope there is a fix for this. I have been getting right around 10 hours on the stock battery with light usage. I know I need to cycle through a few times on the new battery, but initial thoughts are that this sucks.
few phone calls, fieldrunners hd, web browsing, some speedtest all on standard battery...not bad
how long did you have 4g on for?
Im actually pretty impressed with the battery so far. I charged it up for the first time and wiped stats. I have been on this thing for over 9 hours non stop as well as using it for GPS, phone calls, browsing and just playing around on my day off.
Its just about to discharge now...Click to view quoted image
