Wireless Tether is not working now on my phone. Wifi works fine but tethering period doesn't work. Any fixes?

I did do a wipe prior to flashing. I want to try one now AFTER flashing? I can do that. What settings will I lose by wiping without flashing a new ROM (I'm used to setting things up after flashing a new ROM anyway).
Also, I upgraded from RC1 to RC 2.

If you do a full wipe, you'll lose all data and apps. If you wipe cache and dalvik cache only, you'll lose nothing. You'll have to boot into Recovery to do these things, though. You can't do it from ROM Manager.
I generally run sense roms... Im running CM7, I don't see any options in the camera to adjust the picture quality/resolution... I also don't know what the quality on the setting in video mode... Does anyone know how to adjust camera quality? what is the video resolution on camcorder? High, Low, MMS, Youtube? Sure wish I knew specifically what the "high" setting was. Someone please enlighten me..... thanks

I know the "high" vid setting is standard def. They're still working on getting 720p recording working.
Camera quality settings should be in the same general location as camcorder settings. I can't look right now but I know they're in there.
Well I got it to work. What I did was uninstall.....Wipe the cache & Delvik and reflash it and everything works like a charm!
Anyone else have slow times to connect to the hotspot?
My laptop is running windows 7, and it finds the signal quickly and it connects, but it seems like from the phone side of things that it takes another 2-3 min while it "dial ups" to connect to 3G.
Now my speeds are great after I connect and it doesn't disconnect at all. In fact I ran it for about 16 hours straight.
I don't think I every ran the hotspot on CM 6.1, because I only had it for a few weeks before 7 came out. But I know it worked faster on a sense based rom. (myn)

I'm running RC2 with no major problems (a few bugs here and there).
One issue I wanted to ask about is the absence of back lights in the home, menu, back and search keys at the bottom of the phone. The lights seemed to have worked for a while, but now never come on, which makes using the phone in the dark a bit more challenging. Am I missing a setting somewhere or is this a bug?

hi guys...sort of noob...iv'e had my phone rooted for awhile now but only for the wireless tether. downloaded ROM Manager and installed RC2 today but now when the phone starts, the blue cyanogen 7 mod splash animation just plays over and over again...won't actually boot into phone. any ideas on what happened and how to fix it?

Color change
So, I am running rc2 and for the life of me I can't figure out how to change the color of the icons on the closed notification bar (3g, signal strength... things like that).... I had them blue on the nightly I was running, but for the life of me I can't remember how I did it.... can anyone tell me how to change the colors of those 2 blue again? Sry for the stupid question. And thx for the help
