CM7 hasn't gone final. Only nightlies and Release Candidates have been put out. I just posted the link where RC4 can be found.

Although i find them all stable, there is no "Stable" version out. You can find the Nightlies and RC's in the OP.

still having the 4G drop issue where it drops, then displays the 4G and 3G icons... is there any way around this?

EDIT: JUST flashed RC4, didn't do a dalvik wipe, but I installed through RM, so everything else should have been

Heard GPS is still buggy but other than that its very stable.

went in and did a full wipe by hand, including cache partitioning... hasn't happened again yet, but I've been by my computer.

See if the settings for those apps have anything to do with it. There may not be some kind of notification setting checked.

Ugh, I really hope they fix the GPS issue soon! I don't understand why it's so hard? Obviously I know NOTHING about how to work with phones but I feel as though they got it working quickly on CM6. Guessing it's not the same process?

This RC4 is VERY smooth, I love it!

what type of themes do you guys prefer? I've been using Bionic Blue through the market but I would like a change. What looks awesome with CM7?

Ever since I did the sense gps fix, my gps has been working well.
This is the theme I use. It is Cyan Rover. Here is my current screenshot. I think it goes well with my Warm 2.2 themed launcher pro.

That's a very nice theme, I like it. I'll check it out.

I could do the GPS Fix, but honestly, I'm lazy as hell and don't have the time to flash a sense ROM and do all that. Does it take long?

The thing I've found in flashing is that if I leave my GPS on from my last Sense based ROM, when i flash CM7, i don't need to do anything else, it just works.

I read somewhere that there's something weird with the way that the GPS needs to be turned on, and Sense has some software fixes built into it, whereas CM7 doesn't.

Not sure how valid that comment was, but who knows.

I was in the same boat being too lazy to do the GPS fix. I finally broke down and did it before RC4 and it worked like a charm. It only took me an hour or so, but that was with backup and restore time. Probably can be done in less time than that and was surprisingly easy.

I used the steps at this link --> CM7 Fixes, Tweaks, and Work-Arounds! - xda-developers

Only quirk was that the numbers in the fix do not match up with the letters. It worked using the letters.

So I upgraded to RC4 from RC3 last night and when I did my phone went back to completely stock CM7. When I upgraded from RC2 to RC3 everything was backed up and restored everything, I didn't have to do anything. How do I get the same results again?

Make sure you don't wipe data when flashing to a newer version. Just wipe the caches.

(Big Rick) Do you know, or anyone else, what the Open GL bug fix is that they are saying is the reason for RC4 coming out so soon after RC3?

I'm not sure exactly but Launcher Pro was glitchy on RC3 and is not on RC4 so I'm assuming it had something to do with hardware 3d acceleration...
