Official "I got my Infinity" Thread

Ordered grey 32gb infinity & dock from Best Buy on the 17th. Picked them up this afternoon. A guy I work with has the 201, side by side I can definitely see the difference in the screen and the form factor. I am outside using this in the sun right now, amazing how well it looks, even without the super IPS turned on ( I have it on anyways because, well... I CAN). Big fan of the dock, if anything just to hold the tablet at a nice viewing angle. Been switching back & forth between touch and track pad and it's seamless.
Now to customize the hell outta this thing (main reason I didn't go with iPad).:D

I love reading the personal exepriences on this thread. Everyone is like a kid in a candy store! It is awesome!

I preordered a 64GB TF700 and keyboard dock in grey from ABT Electronics about two weeks ago. I received the dock early this week and received shipping notification for the TF700 the same day. My Infinity arrives this coming Monday. I'm upgrading from a Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1. Should be fun!

I got mine and the keyboard dock. So far I am pretty happy with it, my only main gripe is the bloat ware. Thanks asus, anyway to remove the bloat ware?

I got the firmware update on mine though my wife's 700 hasn't. I even went into settings to force an update but its says none is available. I know hers doesn't have the same firmware as I compare both tablets settings side by side. Anyone have any ideas?

Ordered my 64GB gray model from Amazon July 16th, it shipped early the 17th, and I had it the 18th. A couple days later, when my music was all synced for offline use and I had my settings the way I like them, my first gen iPad was demoted from oversized iPod in my briefcase to toy at home. The TF700T is night and day difference compared to the tablets I've used in the past (that iPad, the Google Experience Xoom when it first came out, Galaxy Tab 7.7, and Toshiba Thrive). The screen is bright and crisp (haven't noticed any of the screen issues described here) and the keyboard dock makes it a great netbook for emailing from the couch. The only thing I didn't like is that it arrived the day before my Nexus 7. ;)

Now I'm just waiting for the development community to ramp up around this beast before unlocking the bootloader and going to town!

One developer already announced development for a stock ROM. Just some debloat and basic stuff, but still good to see someone start developing

This is my first tablet... I've messed around with ipads before but this beast is *awesome*.

The only downside for the time being is the lack of apps and the lack of unity among all devices.... so far my only major gripe is that I can't find an office app that can do footnotes properly...y

If anyone is going to develop an app which offers that function I'd gladly buy it :D. I hope google drive gets on that soon too...

Check out Cloud On. It lets you use the full MS Office app.

Ordered my Infinity this morning from BestBuy. I was hoping to wait till it was actually in store to buy one but couldn't wait any longer. I've been sitting on $350 in gift cards and I had a reward certificate. I paid $188 for the tablet with tax and shipping. Shipped out today too!!! Can't wait!!

Recieved mine last night from UPS. Ordered from Best Buy on Saturday morning - standard free shipping. Was shocked to see it waiting for me on the door step, shocked but happy.

Received my 64GB Infinity from NewEggBusiness.com today. Have been installing apps at work all day. Tonight I'll really get to tear into it.

After working with Jelly Bean on the Nexus 7, I miss not having it on the Infinity. Hopefully, we won't have to wait long.

Within the next month or so I expect to see Jelly Bean on the Infinity...

Received my 64GB TF700 today (my TF700 keyboard/dock arrived last week). So far I'm quite impressed! Performance is a step up from the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 it replaced.
