Thats a thought~

:mad:However after the crash from the screen shot & after reboot Im no longer able to play the damn thing either!..:mad:

Very odd as it was working just fine before trying to do a screen shot but now Im sounding like an azz..
Very upset here~

Going to see what I can do..
Just seems odd as it worked for me but no one else (when it did work)..
I am rooted and have many external players installed..
However Im pretty sure the app it self uses its own player if not the stock video player - Then again I cant remember for the life of me witch player I have as the default video player on my phone..
So that could be the reason why as well..

For now though Im working on finding out the reason why the dang app wont stream anylonger after the crash..
Im guessing it must be another app I had running as a service..

Ill report back after some testings~

simple, netflix team is only supporting phones they use at this time (fact)

That is not true. They are supporting it on devices with certain processors. It would be ******ed to say we aren't going to support it on a device we dont use.

Currently Netflix playback is supported on the following phones:

? HTC Incredible with Android 2.2
? HTC Nexus One with Android 2.2, 2.3
? HTC Evo 4G with Android 2.2
? HTC G2 with Android 2.2
? Samsung Nexus S with Android 2.3

I'm still tweaking on Harmonia 1.3, but if I get a chance, I will try modding the build.prop and see if it will work.

I just tried the xda mod for the droid's posted on androidcentral homepage, because I am running AOSP's 2.3.3 rom- but no luck! Anybody willing to tackle this would be greatly appreciated. Would this be something running a script on boot can help out with, so we can change the buildprop but not mess with the actual rom?

It's some DRM that is in the processors themselves. I know our phones don't have it, so I'd imagine that we're failing some sort of DRM check when we try to stream.

I never said the app will never be supported by other phones..
You are correct in the processers for compatible phones as the team is going for the "easier" hardware to takle before they release other builds (as like the Thunderbolt & Droid X)..

Still not able to get this back up and running..
Was maybe dumb luck our a fluck..
Either way I'm not happy~

It does work with that method. Besides that video here are my screenshots. Videos play fullscreen but paused it to take the pic.

I think the green bar is just because my phone has been messing up lately. Going to try it on a different OV and see how it goes.

Stagefright can cause that bar.

Running your latest version of Harmonia not sure if stage fright is enabled or disabled.

Edit: Checked the build.prop seems stage fright is not enabled, bummer. Just going to bite the bullet and buy a new OV since I have some gift cards just sitting around. Or buy my friends OV if he goes back to t-mobile.

Yep, I'm thinking it's just a beta client.

Works great for me using this guide as I didn't see anything posted here at the time... BTW, running the newest nameless rom V1 I believe. I also have the green bar, I'm not complaining, first open was slow, but movies are quick to start. I was thinking about cutting Netflix from the budget but...

Modified my build.prop and it works fine for me with no green bar. I do have staige freight turned on.

I have modified my build.prop but am unable to save. My phone is rooted, but running stock so I can't get the SU to work in ES File Explorer. I also have tried File Expert, which I am able to give SU access. But I can't get it to edit the file.
